the cover image for the book i’m sending off for printing tomorrow. soon i’ll put it all online on my flickr.
[edit: the actual dust cover doesn’t have my name on it – i felt it looked better without. you can see it here. i am also currently working on a flash version of the book, which should be completed soon.]
the idea behind this incorporates photographs from my great aunt nora’s house and a set of old, used postcards i purchased. i’ve written every sentence from the messages on the old postcards down on pieces of paper. i then look at a photograph and try to find a sentence with which it connects and creates substance. the next step in this process is to try and show this sentence in as interesting a way as possible. more of this can be seen on my flickr.
new stuff soon. there’s some newer stuff here, in the meantime.
transitional stage of an experiment. the full tests are on my flickr.
